Porcellio magnificus
Written by
on

| Origin | Spain |
| Temperature | up to 26 °C |
| Size | slightly over 3 cm |

Behavior:
Porcellio magnificus stay mixed in groups at different stages. They are a very nimble and agile species. This isopod species eats very little and is therefore not suitable as ground police but only for display purposes.
Breeding:
They have a long development period of just under a year. However, there are hardly any losses among the young animals.
Special features:
Huge white antennae that contrast beautifully with the body.
The breeding container of Porcellio magnificus needs good air circulation and a moist corner as a retreat.
Anyone who has ever seen a Porcellio magnificus will surely agree with me that this Isopod species is one of the prettiest Isopods ever.
Tip: They don’t like wet feet, so you should only keep one corner moist.
