Behavior:
Can actually be seen everywhere and at all times.
Breeding:
Breeding is uncomplicated. The development time is 3 months under optimal conditions.
Special features:
Trichorhina tomentosa is the best-known species of isopod used as ground police in our terrariums. They tolerate the climatic conditions in humid terrariums very well and also do a good job of disposing of leftovers. However, as this species is very small, you don’t really get to see them and they can therefore not be observed as closely as other larger species.
Tip: Ideal for dendrobat tanks, as the conditions there are perfect and the Isopods are also a good food animal for the frogs.
