Boxwood originates from the Mediterranean region with its warm Mediterranean climate. Not all terrarium conditions will allow live plants to grow or thrive. Some areas are too hot or dry for live plants, while others may have different light requirements or may simply be eaten by the animals. Exo Terra Boxwood Bush offers the same benefits as a live plant: it is decorative, creates hiding places and increases the living area. A combination of live plants and artificial plants allows you to fully plant a terrarium, even in the hottest or driest areas. Also ideal for use in more sterile set-ups (e.g. quarantine terrariums).
