Abutilon is a genus of plants within the mallow family. The 150 to 200 species thrive mainly in the tropics to subtropics almost worldwide. Artificial climbing plant that can be used to conceal cables, among other things. They are popular for climbing and thus provide an additional walking surface for the animals. Exo Terra Abutilon is also suitable for large terrariums.

 

Not all terrarium conditions will allow live plants to grow or thrive. Some areas are too hot or dry for live plants, while others may have different light requirements or may simply be eaten by the animals. The Exo Terra Abutilon offers the same benefits as a live plant: it is decorative, creates hiding places and increases the living area. A combination of live plants and artificial plants allows you to fully plant a terrarium, even in the hottest or driest areas. Also ideal for use in more sterile set-ups (e.g. quarantine terrariums).
