Bamboo leaves as a top layer on the substrate gives your Asian terrarium a natural lock. In addition, the foliage provides your animals with various hiding places and prevents the substrate from drying out quickly. First decomposers like isopods, springtails and millipedes also use the Bamboo leaves as a food source.
