The cashew tree is native to Brazil. In the 16th century, it was introduced to Mozambique and India by the Portuguese to counteract coastal erosion. Our Cashew leaves come from controlled cultivation in Sri Lanka.
In terraristics and aquaristics, Cashew leaves are used as ground cover. This makes the substrate natural and at the same time the tannic acid protects against mould and bacteria.
We would like to point out that this is a natural product and that no two pieces are alike.
