The Coco Humus Tabs are made from the fibres of the coconut shell, a waste product of coconut oil production. The resulting coco substrate is a natural and organic substrate that is ideal for keeping tarantulas. But not only there, it is also used for growing a wide variety of plant species. At the same time, it is an excellent alternative to conventional peat and is becoming increasingly popular.

By using Coco Humus Tabs, we conserve valuable peat deposits and at the same time preserve the important habitats of animals and plants in the peatlands. Our Coco Humus Tabs are 100% peat-free and unfertilised. They contain neither stones nor harmful ingredients and are therefore safe for your terrarium inhabitants. In addition, they are mould-inhibiting and ensure a healthy and hygienic environment in your terrarium. In addition, they are biodegradable and can be disposed of easily and environmentally friendly in the residual waste bin, organic waste bin or garden bed after use. Coco Humus Tab KT-250

The Coco Humus Tab can swell effortlessly by adding about 75 ml of water and turns into the perfect substrate for small terrariums. One coco humus tab can be used to make about 250 ml of Coco Humus, which can cover a base area of about 10 x 10 cm (cricket tin) and reaches a height of about 2 cm. This provides an ideal basis for terrarium landscapes and enables optimal growth and well-being of the plants and animals living in it.

Coco Humus Tab KT-400

With 150 ml of water you can easily swell the Coco Humus Tab and turn it into the perfect substrate for small terrariums. A single coco humus tab is enough to make about 400 ml of Coco Humus. This substrate covers a base area of about 19 x 19 cm (BraPlast Box) and reaches a height of about 2 cm. This creates an ideal basis for the design of your terrarium landscape and promotes optimal growth as well as the well-being of the plants and animals living in it.
