A single keeping is of course perfect to be able to observe the isopods in peace. Also the breeding will work best, because there are no more disturbing factors like predators or posture compromises.
There are also isopod keepers who breed the isopods to feed the offspring to their tarantulas, scorpions, amphibians, turtles or reptiles. So the question is, do you want to keep isopods use them for feeding other animals or do you want to keep isopods to watch them and sell or exchange the bred offspring?
