Short description:
Porcellio bolivari “Yellow Ghost” has a flat and broad body structure. This is white colored and has a striking yellow stripe in the middle along the body axis. This immediately catches the eye when you look at the animals and makes them a real highlight. The male animals have strikingly long uropods and increase the overall appearance of the animals.
Porcellio bolivari “Yellow Ghost” is not a man-made color variant, but was discovered in the province of Alicante.
There are a few things to consider when keeping them. Ventilation areas should be generous. The species does not tolerate musty stale humid air. Generally, humidity can be kept relatively low at 50-70%. It will readily seek out a slightly more humid mossy corner in the isopod terrarium to perform the recurring molting process. The fathoming of the optimal humidity and aeration requires some tactfulness with this species.
The rest of the setup does not differ from other Porcellio species and can be implemented in the same way.
