Short description about Poecilotheria regalis:

Poecilotheria regalis is a tree dwelling tarantula. Therefore it needs a high terrarium with a root or a trunk on the diagonal with which it can weave its web.

Due to its light grey and light brown ornamental pattern, it is best camouflaged on light bark pieces and literally blends in. However, if there is a fight, it raises its legs and its bright yellow warning colour appears.
The care of Poecilotheria regalis is relatively simple. Spraying twice a week to achieve a humidity of 60 to 75 % is quite sufficient. A feeder can be offered once a week.

The toxicity of this tree tarantula is somewhat higher than that of other species. Therefore, long feeding tweezers should be used when handling. We do not recommend the animals for children!
