The purple flames stand out on the ivory ground coloration and gives Limicolaria flammea a beautiful look. As with all snails, a group should consist of at least 3 animals. The terrarium should not fall below a size of 80 × 40 × 40 cm. Although they belong to the tree- and shrub-dwelling snails, Limicolaria flammea also burrow occasionally.
