Short description about Haplopelma minax:
Haplopelma minax are tube-dwellers. Care should therefore be taken to ensure sufficient substrate height. This should be at least 15 cm for adult animals. In case of disturbances they usually retreat into their living tubes and behave relatively defensively. Nevertheless the handling with them is not always easy and you need some patience and experience, if you want to move them to a new terrarium for example.
