Isopods are ideal for socializing with other species. They help to keep the substrate clean and thus prevent the formation of mold and mites. They also provide one or two pets with proteins and therefore also with a lot of calcium, which plays a very important role in building bones or the chitin shell.

Would you like to breed Isopods as display animals or as food animals?

There are also Isopod keepers who breed Isopods to feed the offspring to their tarantulas, scorpions, amphibians, turtles or reptiles. Hence the question, do you want to keep Isopods to feed them or do you want to keep Isopods to observe them and sell or trade the resulting offspring?

How demanding can the posture be?

The requirements of the different species are relatively different, so the question for me is whether you already have experience of keeping terrarium animals or whether you are starting from scratch.
