Golden Flies are the ideal food for jumping spiders from FH5 to FH7, mantids and also tarantula spiderlings. They are not only a natural food source, but also perfect for storing and dosing.

The Pinky Maggots can be stored in the fridge for several weeks. Due to the low temperature, the Pinky Maggots develop very slowly. For feeding, you can simply put the desired number of Pinky maggots into the terrarium with a pair of tweezers. This way, for example, the jumping spider can eat the maggot directly if necessary or if it is not hungry, a fly will develop after a few days and the jumping spider will then have another opportunity to feed. To enhance and prolong the life of the hatched flies, they can be fed with honey or sugar.

Golden Flies and pinky maggots are harmless to the fosterlings. Even in the critical moulting phase, the flies or maggots do not disturb the animals.
