Drosophila- Basic Set

Thanks to the Drosophila Basic Set, breeding Drosophila is nwo a child’s play.

The breeding powder contains all ingredients, so that the offspring grow fast and healthy. The breeding base has a pleasant banana smell and can therefore also be left in the living area.

Usage of the Drosophila Basic Set:

Empty the breeding powder into the breeding container and add 100ml water. As an alternative, you can also use 90 ml of water with 10 ml of table vinegar. This additionally helps to prevent the formation of mould.

Stir with a spoon and press the wood wool on it. Then add your already existing Drosophilas for breeding. Whether Drosophila hydei or Drosophila melanogaster, the broth is suitable for both forms. Let the cup be left at room temperature without direct sunlight and after 2 weeks the first offspring can be fed already.
