The small size should have a high reproduction rate. Therefore I recommend two types of isopods. On the one hand the Trichorhina tomentosa “White dwarf isopod”. These will only grow up to 5 mm and reproduce themselves quite neatly with very low requirements. An exact breeding instruction can be found in the keeping reports.
The other species is Porcellionides pruinosus “Cuban Isopod”. I recommend the orange ones in particular, because they can be seen better and can be eaten better by your animals. This isopod species reaches a size of 1.2 cm, which means that you can only feed the young isopods. But they multiply explosively and you won’t have a problem with the supply of your feeding animals.
