Spirostreptus spec. 9 ist der nahe verwandten Art Spirostreptus spec. 8 sehr ähnlich und unterscheidet sich mitunter nur in der Färbung der Tiere. Wie S. spec. 8 auch bewohnt diese Art bevorzugt feuchte, schattige Wälder. Vor allem in Kamerun ist die Art zu finden. Mit einer maximalen Länge von etwa 25 cm gehört sie zu den größeren Diplopodenarten.
Die Färbung ist wie oben schon erwähnt der einzige Punkt, an dem ich Spirostreptus spec. 8 und Spirostreptus spec. 9 unterscheiden. Spirostreptus spec. 9 ist dunkelbraun, orange-gelb geringelt und hat graue Beine und Antennen. Der Körper der Art glänzt stark und ist sehr glatt.
Diese Art kann genau wie Spirostreptus spec. 8 gehalten werden.
