Brief description:

A BraPlast box is best suited for housing the larvae. The larvae need plenty of fresh air, so it is advisable to drill at least 3 holes (6 mm) in the upper quarter on each side. We also drill another 4 holes (6 mm) in the lid.
As the larvae spend most of their time at the bottom, the protein in the form of gammarus should also be available there. We offer an approx. 1 cm high layer there.
We fill the rest of the box with flake soil. We leave approx. 1/4 of the can empty so that the air holes remain free.

The species forgives one or two mistakes and is a great introduction to giant beetles / rhinoceros beetles.
