Brief description:

Porcellio spec. “Barbate Orange” is the orange color form of Porcellio spec. “Barbate”. The orange of the animals extends through to the tips of the antennae and gives the animals a beautiful and striking overall appearance.

Like all Porcellio species, the animals prefer a rather dry substrate with a moist corner of moss. They are suitable both as ground police in drier terraria (60-75%) and as food animals. The reproduction rate is high and the appearance of the animals is easily recognizable to predators due to their orange color.
