Like all color variants of this species, Porcellio bolivari “Lemon” has a flat and broad body. This is completely yellow in this color variant, with a color gradient from the middle to the outside. This immediately catches the eye when you look at the animals and makes them a real highlight. The males have strikingly long uropods and further enhance the overall appearance of the animals.

There are a few things to bear in mind when keeping them. The ventilation areas should be generous. The species does not tolerate musty, stale, damp air. In general, the humidity can be kept relatively low at 50-70%. A slightly more humid mossy corner in the isopod terrarium is often sought out to carry out the recurring moulting process. Finding the optimum humidity and aeration for this species requires a little sensitivity.
