Application:
Approx. 23 g of Drosophila instant mix in a 500 ml breeding container is recommended. Mix the powder with 100 ml water to a pulpy mass.

As an alternative, you can also use 90 ml of water with 10 ml of table vinegar. This additionally helps to prevent the formation of mould.

Fill the container loosely with wood wool. Inoculate the breeding container with about 50 fruit flies. The breeding is suitable for both Drosophila hydei and Drosophila melanogaster. Store the container at room temperature without direct sunlight. First offspring are available after 2 weeks.
