Scourge scorpions belong to the order of the arachnids and resemble a real scorpion, but have no sting. He uses the whip that is on the abdomen to spray a defense secretion. And he does it very skillfully! It sprays its secretion up to 80 cm wide, which stings the eyes but is not toxic. Therefore, despite the missing sting, some caution is required. However, we have not yet experienced a military secretion attack ourselves.

A 40x30x30 cm terrarium can be used for individual housing. You can also keep them in groups, but then the size must also be adjusted. The breeding works without any major problems. The forest humus should be at least 5 cm high and the animals should be offered hiding places in the form of cork pieces and leaves .
