4,5 – 8,0 CM
A BraPlast can is best suited for the accommodation. The larvae need plenty of fresh air, so it is recommended to drill at least 3 holes (6mm) on each side in the upper quarter. On the lid we drill 4 more holes (6mm).
Since the larvae are mostly at the bottom, the protein in form of gammarus should be available there as well. We offer there an approx. 1 cm high layer.
We fill the rest of the can with Flake Soil. We leave about 1/4 of the can empty to leave the air holes free.
This species forgives you the one or other mistake and is a great start in the field of giant beetles / rhinoceros beetles.
Essential for this larvae!
