The Exo Terra Heat Guard<\/strong> combines a lamp socket with a sturdy protective cage. This allows you to place a heat or light source directly inside the terrarium while preventing the animal from coming into direct contact with the bulb. This reduces the risk of burns and, at the same time, protects the lamp from accidental damage.<\/p>\n

This is especially important for climbing terrarium animals. After all, they make full use of branches, back walls, and plants, allowing them to reach areas directly beneath the terrarium roof. The Heat Guard therefore creates a solid barrier between the animal and the hot light source.<\/p>\n

Inside is a heat- and UV-resistant E27 ceramic socket<\/strong>. It is suitable for various compatible light and heat bulbs with a wattage of up to 160 W<\/strong>. This allows you to use the Heat Guard both to create a targeted heat spot and for suitable light sources.<\/p>\n

Even so, changing the bulb is still easy. All you have to do is loosen the two screws and remove the protective grille. You don’t need to take the entire fixture out of the terrarium to do this.<\/p>\n
