Porcellio flavocinctus “Caramel”<\/span><\/strong> is one of the particularly exciting <\/span>novelties in the Isopod hobby<\/span>. This unusual color form originally comes from <\/span>Southern Spain<\/span> and with its warm caramel-colored markings it is of great interest to terrarium keepers and collectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

The animals have an <\/span>intense caramel brown basic coloration<\/span>which can vary from light to darker shades of brown depending on the animal. This makes a group look particularly lively and varied in the terrarium. At the same time, many animals have <\/span>light segment edges<\/span>which gives the body an additional structured appearance. It is precisely this combination of color and contrast that makes these Isopods a real eye-catcher. <\/span><\/p>\n

With a body size of about <\/span>1.8 to 2.2 cm<\/span> belongs to <\/span>Porcellio flavocinctus “Caramel”<\/span><\/strong> to the large Porcellio species.
