Wheat bran consists of the outer layers of the whole grain. These outer layers contain many minerals and vitamins. Wheat bran is a universal feed for many insects. It is high in protein, low in starch and high in fibre. Wheat bran is very digestible and has a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract and promotes digestion. Our wheat bran is completely untreated and free of preservatives and additives. It is particularly popular for feeding insects such as firebrats, grasshoppers, crickets, cockroaches, mealworms, zophobas or buffalo worms. Even our East African cave crickets love this inexpensive feed.
