The Tliltocatl albopilosus complete set MINI was specially developed for the safe and species-appropriate rearing of young ruffed-haired tarantulas. It is aimed at both beginners and experienced keepers who value a compact, well thought-out and high-quality setup. With this set, you get everything you need to get started right away – including a Tliltocatl albopilosus juvenile with approx. 10 mm body size.
The centerpiece of the set is the Insektenliebe acrylic terrarium measuring 20 × 15 × 15 cm. It offers a clear all-round view, is easy to clean and ensures a stable climate thanks to the integrated ventilation. The matching Drip tray with seal reliably prevents moisture and substrate from escaping, while at the same time making maintenance easier.
The substrate is a coconut humus tabwhich is loose and burrowable after swelling. Such a substrate is particularly important for Tliltocatl albopilosus, as this species likes to create small hollows and retreats even as a young animal. The substrate is supplemented by Insektenliebe Sphagnum mosswhich retains moisture and at the same time creates areas rich in structure.
Carefully selected natural materials provide the furnishings. Dragonstone adds weight and visual depth to the terrarium, while cork bark (S) serves as a first hiding place and gives the young animal security. The Fittonia pink not only sets a colorful accent, but also contributes to a balanced microclimate.
