SpiderSafe rearing box – safe, well thought-out and now even more robust

The SpiderSafe rearing box was specially developed for the species-appropriate keeping and rearing of jumping spiders and other small invertebrates. With the latest update, we are setting new standards in terms of safety, suitability for everyday use and animal welfare.

The transparent container allows a clear view of your animal at all times without disturbing it by constantly opening it. This means you can keep an eye on everything at all times, even with shy species. The heart of the container is the innovative gauze lid: it is now made of a flexible rubber plastic that cannot break – even with frequent use. We have also added a practical eyelet that securely attaches the lid to the tin. This means that the lid can no longer accidentally fall off or get lost – ideal for hectic moments during feeding.

The fine-mesh gauze ensures excellent air circulation and at the same time allows you to spray directly to regulate the humidity – without having to remove the lid. Particularly practical for sensitive or bouncy animals such as Hyllus, Phidippus or other jumping spiders.

Another plus: the lid is drosophila-proof – food insects such as fruit flies remain reliably in the box where they belong. This keeps your pet well fed and you don’t have to worry about food insects escaping. The handling has also been well thought out – thanks to the small nose opening on the lid, you can open and close it safely and easily at any time.
