The Philodendron scandens “Brasil” is a tropical beauty that delights with its eye-catching, variegated leaf decoration. It also grows reliably in low light, but then develops less intensive patterns. The humidity should be constantly high (from 60 %), which is usually no problem under terrarium conditions.

The soil should be evenly moist, but never waterlogged. Regular spraying of the leaves increases their well-being and gives them a healthy shine. With its flexible growth habit, it is also an ideal plant for providing animal inhabitants such as geckos or frogs with additional cover and climbing opportunities.
