Neoregelia “Amazon” – Exotic terrarium plant for tropical habitats

The Neoregelia “Amazon” is a decorative bromeliad that is ideal for tropical terrariums. With its strong rosette shape and intensely colored leaves, it gives every terrarium a natural rainforest character.

This species originates from the warm and humid climate zones of South America. There it grows in areas with high humidity and indirect light. Accordingly, it also feels at home in the terrarium with 70-90 % humidity particularly well. Its rosette of leaves stores water and provides reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates with a natural source of drinking water. At the same time, the plant helps to regulate the microclimate.
