Valuable supplementary feed for all isopod species in a 100 ml resealable stand-up pouch.
You can choose from the following types of feed:
GAMMARUS
Freshwater shrimps are a natural, dried food that is ideal for feeding Isopods. They provide a rich source of energy and are an ideal supplementary food. Gammarus are particularly rich in minerals and vitamins, which are fully preserved through gentle freeze-drying. All Isopod species, including small ones, like to eat them, as the freshwater shrimps can be easily crushed by hand.
Ingredients: crude protein: approx. 50 %, crude fat: approx. 3 %, crude fiber: approx. 13 %, crude ash: approx. 22 %, moisture: approx. 10 %
ALGEA SNACK
Our ALGEA SNACK is quite simply a tasty treat for many isopod species in the terrarium. In its natural form, spirulina is a blue-green microalgae. It is one of the most nutrient-rich plant-like organisms known. You can either simply add the algae wafers to the isopod tank as a chip or mix them with a little water beforehand.
Ingredients: crude protein 37%, crude fat 6%, crude fiber 4%, crude ash 7.5%, vitamin A 30000IE/kg, vitamin D3 2000IE/kg, vitamin E 100mg/kg, vitamin C 50mg/kg Composition: fish and fish by-products, vegetable by-products, cereals, meat and animal by-products, molluscs and crustaceans, algae 2%, vegetables
BALANCE FLAKES
Our BALANCE FLAKES have an optimum protein/fat ratio. Protein (crude protein/protein) is primarily used for growth, cell regeneration and the formation of sex products. Fat (crude fat), on the other hand, is the main source of energy. Assel feed must have the best possible ratio of protein to fat. This is because both substances influence each other. With careful processing, many natural components can be largely retained in the feed. However, vitamins, minerals and trace elements are added to this feed to prevent deficiencies.
Ingredients: crude protein 40%, crude fat 4%, crude fiber 3%, crude ash 6.5%, vitamin A 30000IE/kg, vitamin D3 2000IE/kg, vitamin E 150mg/kg, vitamin C 50mg/kg Composition: cereals and vegetable by-products, fish and fish by-products, meat and animal by-products, yeasts, algae, molluscs and crustaceans
PRAWN COCKTAIL
The “main components” of shrimps are proteins and fats. Shrimps are very nutritious and contain a lot of omega-3 fatty acids. Shrimps not only provide vitamins, but also good fats and, above all, protein. They therefore not only help to keep our Isopods healthy but are also very well accepted by them. Another advantage of dried shrimps is that they hardly ever go moldy, even after several days in the isopod tank.
Ingredients: crude protein 52%, crude fat 10%, crude fiber 7%, crude ash 14%, moisture 5%
PROTEIN PEARLS
The spray-on method allows a higher fat content to be added to this food than flake food, which is then made available to the Isopods for energy metabolism. This reduces the protein turnover for energy purposes.
This feed also has a high digestibility and reduction of non-adsorbable starch residues due to the breakdown of the starch. The reason for this lies in the production method. As extrudates therefore usually have a higher energy content or improved starch digestibility than flake feed, the amount of feed to be given can or must be reduced. Feeding PROTEIN PEARLS therefore has a direct savings effect!
Ingredients: crude protein 30%, crude fat 5%, crude fiber 6.3%, crude ash 6.3%, calcium 0.5%, vitamin A 10000IE/kg, vitamin D3 2000IE/kg, vitamin E 200mg/kg, vitamin C 150mg/kg Composition: soy extraction meal, steam-heated, wheat bran, sunflower extraction meal, fish oil, fish meal
