Insektenliebe rearing terrarium XL

The Insektenliebe rearing terrarium XL is perfect for rearing mantids, jumping spiders, tarantulas, scorpions or other offspring. It is also perfect for the permanent housing of small species.

The containers can be easily stacked on top of each other and the clear design allows the animals to be observed from the side as well as from above. The clip closure is fitted with a silicone lip and therefore closes absolutely tightly and is easy to open. However, this is not necessary as the front ventilation is fitted with a screw thread, allowing the container to be opened quickly to feed the animals. This technique allows you to stack the Insektenliebe XL rearing terrarium without having to constantly dismantle it. The transparent aeration grids are insect and fruit fly-proof and thus keep all troublemakers out of the rearing terrarium. The double ventilation ensures natural circulation in the terrarium and prevents waterlogging. The ventilation grille at the back has no screw cap, but can be easily replaced if necessary.

The Insektenliebe XL rearing terrarium is supplied with 600 ml of substrate. The substrate is mixed by us and consists of 70 % forest humus and 30 % sphagnum moss. This mixture retains moisture perfectly and releases it slowly into the environment. You can also easily add a soil police to this substrate. You can also choose between a piece of cork with a mini tree, a river root and Cholla Wood. All products are hand-picked by us and therefore fit perfectly in the Insektenliebe XL rearing terrarium. A species name sticker is also included, so you can see at a glance which species is in the terrarium.

If a heat source in the form of a lamp is required, we recommend the Exo Terra Reptile Dome NANO with holder and the Exo Terra Daylight Basking Spotlight. The temperature in the Insektenliebe XL rearing terrarium should be measured beforehand and adjusted as required by reducing or increasing the distance.
