Hobby Thermo Spotlight Eco – Natural sunbathing areas in the terrarium

The Hobby Thermo Spotlight Eco is a modern halogen heat spotlight for terrariums. It enables the creation of natural Sunny spotsas reptiles also use them in their natural habitat.

The spotlight generates a bundled light conewhich specifically creates warm areas in the terrarium. Reptiles actively seek out such basking areas to regulate their body temperature. This allows them to control their activity and act out their natural behavior.

In addition to the direct heat, the spotlight also slightly increases the ambient temperature in the terrarium. As a result, the animals benefit from a more stable climate. At the same time, the additional warmth supports their vitality and activity.

Another advantage of the lamp is the contained UV-A component. This light stimulates the natural behavior of many terrarium animals. Reptiles react particularly sensitively to it and show more activity and pronounced basking behavior as a result.

Despite the powerful output, the lamp works particularly energy-efficient. The halogen spotlight consumes approx. 30 % less energy than conventional light bulbs. This reduces your electricity costs and protects the environment at the same time.
