Hobby Power & Heat LED

With its 35 W and 18 W, the Hobby Power & Heat LED is a real “bundle of light”. With an energy consumption of only 35 W and approx. 3,100 lumens or 18 W and approx. 1.964 lumens, it emits significantly more light than a 70 W or 50 W metal halide lamp with only approx. 2,300 lumens or a conventional 150 W spotlight with just under 1,500 – 2,000 lumens. Another innovation and special feature is the modern ventilation system inside the spotlight. This makes it possible to heat terrariums with the LED by up to 5° C in addition to the ambient temperature. This makes the Hobby Power & Heat LED ideal for providing terrariums with additional heat. However, it is also ideal for terrarium animals with low heat requirements but high light requirements and can be used there as the sole light source.

In the case of “normal” terrariums with animals that require UV and heat, the Hobby Power & Heat LED is best suited as an energy-saving and additional light and heat source. It does not replace pure UV and heat lamps, but is an ideal solution in combination. A major advantage of LED lighting is the enormously high light output compared to energy consumption and a significantly longer service life of the light source compared to halogen or conventional light sources. The Hobby Power & Heat LED has a beam angle of 25° and is particularly suitable for creating basking areas, light spots or as an additional light source. The spectrum of the light is modeled on natural, neutral daylight and thus promotes the well-being of the animals. The sturdy housing of the Hobby Power & Heat LED is designed for the everyday life of terrarium animals and thus ensures safety.
