Hobby Natural Moss – Perfect for tropical terrariums
Hobby Natural Moss is a versatile natural product that no tropical terrarium should be without. It supports humidity regulation and at the same time provides a natural look. Thanks to its structure, the moss stores water particularly well and slowly releases it back into the environment. This creates a stable microclimate that supports sensitive animals and plants alike.
Hobby Natural Moss plays a particularly important role for species with increased moisture requirements. You can create specific moist zones by placing it in a corner or under a hiding place. Many reptiles and invertebrates benefit from such areas, especially during moulting. At the same time, animals like to use the moss as a soft base or as a sheltered retreat.
Hobby Natural Moss brings an authentic forest atmosphere to the terrarium. It softens hard transitions between stone, wood and substrate and creates natural contrasts. In combination with roots or moss branches, it creates a lively, three-dimensional impression. This makes the entire setup appear more harmonious and natural.
The application is uncomplicated. You can moisten the moss slightly and place it directly in the terrarium. Depending on your requirements, place it loosely on the substrate or create specific wet areas. In bioactive setups, it also supports microorganisms and soil life as it stores moisture and promotes organic processes.
Hobby Natural Moss also reliably fulfills its purpose in breeding boxes or smaller terrariums. It helps to retain moisture in certain areas without soaking the entire tank. This allows you to maintain control over the climate and reduce fluctuations.
If you want to create a stable, moist microclimate and achieve a natural design at the same time, Hobby Natural Moss is the right choice. It combines functionality with aesthetic added value and supports species-appropriate husbandry in tropical terrariums.
Application:
Simply use the Hobby Natural Moss brick in a bucket and add at least 1.5 liters of lukewarm water. After a short time, the moss will begin to expand to its full volume. Squeeze out the required amount briefly by hand.
