Hobby Moonlight LED – Observe nocturnal animals without disturbing them

The Hobby Moonlight LED provides natural night lighting in the terrarium. It simulates the soft light of the moon creating a realistic night-time environment for your terrarium inhabitants.

Many terrarium animals only become active at dusk or at night. The Moonlight LED was developed precisely for these animals. It generates a slightly bluish shimmering lightwhich transforms the terrarium into a calm and natural nightscape.

This special light spectrum allows you to observe nocturnal and crepuscular animalswithout disturbing them. Reptiles, amphibians and many invertebrates often exhibit particularly natural behavior under moonlight.

The Moonlight LED can also stimulate the mating behavior of many species. At the same time, the dim light helps the animals to foraging at night.

A major advantage of the lamp is its very low energy consumption. The LED only requires approx. 3 watts of electricity and thus saves up to 80 % energy compared to conventional moonlights.

In addition, the lamp generates hardly any heat. This means that the important temperature drop in the terrarium at nightwhich many species need for a natural day-night rhythm.

Thanks to their compact design the Hobby Moonlight LED is also ideal for smaller terrariums. It fits into any standard E27 socket and does not require an additional ballast.

As the lamp does not emit UV radiationIt is particularly suitable for quiet night-time lighting. Also Amphibians benefit from the soft light source.

With a service life of over 30,000 operating hours the Hobby Moonlight LED is also particularly durable and reliable.
