You should also provide pieces of cork, bark or leaves so that the spider can use natural structures. A small bowl of water should not be missing. Ideally, the humidity should be between 70 and 80 %, while the temperature should be kept at around 24 to 27 °C during the day and slightly cooler at night.
Hapalopus guerreroi is peaceful, but quite agile when disturbed. A retreat is therefore essential. Its tendency to burrow and weave makes observation particularly exciting – it often creates small tube systems that it carefully arranges and lines with webbing. Despite its lively nature, this species is very suitable for beginners as it is easy to care for and not very aggressive.
