Pollen – A fine supplement for strong populations

Flower pollen is a high-quality and natural supplement for the diet of many terrarium inhabitants. They consist of the pollen grains produced by plants, which are rich in proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. For Isopods, cockroaches, millipedes and other invertebrates in particular, they are a concentrated source of nutrients that usefully supplement the basic food.

You can use pollen sparingly and selectively in the terrarium. A small amount sprinkled selectively on the substrate is sufficient. The animals actively consume the fine grains and benefit from the additional protein supply, especially during growth phases or after moulting. Flower pollen also supports the stable development of the population in breeding approaches.

Thanks to their fine structure, the grains are easy to distribute. At the same time, they remain easily accessible and are quickly absorbed. A moderate dosage is important as it is a concentrated natural product. In combination with leaves, white rotten wood and woodlice food, a balanced, varied diet is created.

Flower pollen is particularly suitable for bioactive terrariums, as it not only benefits the animals, but can also support microorganisms in the substrate. In this way, the supplement indirectly contributes to stabilizing the entire system.

2.4 % crude ash, 17.9 % crude protein, 7.8 % crude fat, 0.2 % crude fiber

Application:
animals every 2-3 days as much pollen as they can eat in one day.
