Exo Terra Terrarium

The terrarium is without doubt the most important aspect of keeping Isopods, millipedes and other invertebrates. Many species have different needs, so a versatile and easily adaptable terrarium is necessary, which is where the Exo Terra Terrarium comes into play. To meet the needs of the keepers and more importantly the needs of the animals, Exo Terra has developed many different terrariums, each with their own special characteristics. All Exo Terra terrariums can be used in different ways and different set-ups are possible: from temporary housing to natural, state of the art terrariums.

The front-opening doors of the Exo Terra Terrarium allow easy access for feeding and maintenance. A special locking mechanism prevents “break-outs” and the doors can be opened independently of each other. The fine-mesh metal mesh top and the associated good ventilation allow UVB and infrared light to penetrate the terrarium. It can be easily removed completely for decoration or cleaning purposes. At the back of the top there are 5 lockable cable channels on both sides for attaching heat stones, waterfalls, sensors etc. inside the terrarium. The base of the terrarium is raised so that a substrate heater can be fitted to heat part of the enlarged base area. The extra high front windows are ideal for thick layers of substrate, for water points (paludarium) or for mounting an Exo Terra reptile cave. The lifelike background is in the same color as all other Exo Terra decorative items (water bowls, waterfalls, warming stones, etc.) and offers extra space for climbing.

The Exo Terra stone motif background is an exceptionally lifelike background that can be easily cut to size. It creates a multi-dimensional home that is ideal for climbing reptiles or can simply be used to embellish the natural terrarium. Its color and texture is the same as all Exo Terra decorative items to create a perfectly harmonized terrarium environment, wet or dry.
