The Exo Terra Light Dome is a compact and powerful reflector lamp that has been specially developed for use in terrariums. Despite its small size, it achieves an impressive light output and is ideal for Exo Terra terrarium mesh covers.

The extra deep, highly polished aluminum reflector dome concentrates light and UV radiation particularly efficiently. This increases the output of visible light as well as UVA and UVB rays by up to 100 %. While simple sockets lose some of the radiation, the Light Dome directs the light specifically into the habitat of your animals. This creates effective basking areas with optimum UV supply.

The heat-resistant ceramic socket accepts both incandescent lamps up to a maximum of 75 watts and compact terrarium lamps up to 26 watts. This gives you flexibility when choosing your light source. Whether UVB lamp, heat spotlight or daylight spotlight – you can combine the right technology for your setup.

Thanks to its compact design, the Light Dome fits easily onto most mesh covers. You can position the lamp securely above the terrarium using the integrated mounting clip or suspension bracket. The 180 cm long mains cable and the practical on/off switch make everyday use easier.

You can combine several Light Dome holders to create different light and heat zones. This allows you to provide your animals with natural thermoregulation and a balanced light spectrum.
