The Cyclosternum spec. “Aureum” is one of the rarest tarantulas available in the trade. Little is known about this species, which originates from South America. With a body length of around 4 cm, this tarantula remains relatively small and leads a fossorial lifestyle, creating underground tunnels with several entrances. It finds optimal living conditions at temperatures of 20-25 °C and a humidity of over 80 %.
