Cubaris spec. “Mandarin”

Brief description:

The name of Cubaris spec. “Mandarin” actually sums up its appearance perfectly. The beautiful constant orange color is reminiscent of a mandarin and is also immediately noticeable in the terrarium. This species mainly lives on the ground and likes to hide in the foliage. This is also preferred as a food source and is eaten with pleasure.

The substrate should be well enriched with lime granules and shell grit. The keeping conditions are comparable to other Cubaris species. In other words, the substrate should never dry out completely, but should not be too wet either. The population can be expected to double within a year.
