Bamboo pole – Natural climbing paradise for your terrarium

The bamboo pole is a classic, proven natural product for terrariums with natural setups. It brings structure to the tank, offers support, creates walking paths and is actively used by many animals. Thanks to its simple appearance, it blends harmoniously into almost any biotope, whether dry, slightly damp or tropical.

Bamboo is by nature light, stable and at the same time very durable. This makes the bamboo pole as an excellent climbing aid for jumping spiders, mantids or tree tarantulas. At the same time, insects, cockroaches and Isopods like to use the surface as a walkway or retreat. It also provides additional structure for smaller reptiles without visually overloading the tank.

The smooth outer surface ensures a secure hold, while the natural grain gives the terrarium an authentic appearance. Unlike many types of wood, bamboo does not splinter and retains its shape even after prolonged use. This makes the bamboo pole suitable for both permanent installations and flexible conversions.

You can place the bamboo pole horizontally, vertically or place them at a slight angle. This creates new levels, visual barriers or connections between the substrate and the back wall. Especially in smaller terrariums, it provides more usable space without losing surface area.

All bamboo poles are natural and untreated. A quick rinse with water is sufficient before use. The pole can then be used immediately and will develop an even more natural look over time.
