Brief description:

The basic color of Aphonopelma seemanni ranges from brown to dark grey to blue and black. The leg joints are striped white and there are two white stripes on the upper sides of each leg. It is a sturdily built tarantula and is a ground dweller and likes to build tubes in the substrate.

The humidity should not be too high. 60-70% is completely sufficient. Water is readily accepted from a drinking bowl and should always be offered. Aphonopelma seemanni behaves defensively and withdraws when the water is changed rather than attacking.
