Porcellio bolivari “Lemon”

Porcellio bolivari “Lemon”, like all colour varieties of this species, has a flat and broad body. This colour variation is completely yellow, with a colour gradient from the centre to the outside. This immediately catches the eye when you look at the animals and makes them a real highlight. The males have conspicuously long uropods and increase the overall appearance of the animals.

There are a few things to keep in mind. The ventilation areas should be generous. The species does not tolerate musty stale humid air. In general, the humidity can be kept relatively low at 50-70%. A slightly more humid mossy corner in the isopod terrarium is readily visited in order to carry out the recurring moulting process. Finding the optimal humidity and ventilation for this species requires a little intuition.
