Our deciduous forest humus comes from controlled regional cultivation. The proportion of over 30% fermented wood and at least 10% foliage provides a good nutritional basis for all first decomposers. Our forest humus is the perfect start for your terrarium and offers a balanced pH-value. Forest humus should be the main component of the soil substrate in the terrarium as soon as animals such as isopods, millipedes, snails, worms, springtails and many other species are to be used. Our sterilized version has been stored for at least 72 hours at -26°C and is therefore free of black flies.

Our forest humus is a natural product and unfortunately there are always foreign substances like plastic parts in the humus. We check our forest humus before packing and ask you to do this again before you put it into the terrarium.
