We produce our Flake Soil ourselves and therefore know exactly what it contains:

100% beech shavings: These provide the structure and the necessary porosity.
Bacteria from the organic compost: They play a decisive role in fermentation and improve the availability of nutrients.
Spring water from the Lauter: It ensures the pure and uncontaminated moisture of the substrate.

Our Flake Soil undergoes a careful fermentation process that takes place in a vaulted cellar for three months and is then stored for a further month for complete fermentation. We then sterilise the substrate for 48 hours at -30° in the freezer to ensure optimum quality and purity.

We recommend not mixing the Flake Soil with other types of substrate to avoid re-fermentation. In addition, the substrate should only be used in cultivation boxes with ventilation to ensure optimum conditions.
