Our Cocoa leaves come from controlled cultivation by private small farmers in South America and are of course completely pesticide-free. They are the ideal covering layer in every rainforest terrarium and are used by many invertebrates in nature for protection and foraging. With real cocoa leaves you create a realistic picture of the rainforest in the terrarium. In addition, the leaves release tannic and humic acids and therefore offer the animals protection against bacteria and fungi.
We would like to point out that this is a natural product and no two pieces are alike.
