Getting to Know Your Pet

Photo, species, local form, and stage of development: Create a profile and fill it out gradually. A name is optional.

Keep track of everything

Record feedings and molts. Set feeding and spraying intervals to suit your pet.

Get reminders at the right time

Enable push notifications on your device. The setup process will guide you step by step through the necessary settings.

Do you keep a jumping spider? Then its profile and care will be the focus.

Do you breed and have many animals of the same species? List them together as a population. The overview remains compact, while each animal retains its own number and history.

Mating pairs, cocoons, lineage, and proof of origin are also included.

Manage your animals in three steps.

Create an account

Open the Pet Companion app, sign up with your email address, and confirm your account.

Add a pet

Select the type, add a photo, and adjust the maintenance intervals. You can add more details later.

Enable reminders

Follow the instructions for your device and send a test message. That way, you’ll know if your reminder is being delivered.

On an iPhone, you’ll need iOS 16.4 or later, and you’ll need to open the Pet Companion app from the Home screen to enable push notifications. On Android, use a supported browser. The instructions in the app will guide you through the process.

Do I need to download an app?

You can open the pet companion directly in your browser. For quick access, add it to your home screen. You don’t need to download it from the App Store.

Can I log in with my store account?

You’ll need to create a separate account for your pet companion. You can use the same email address as the one you used for your shop account.

Which languages can I choose?

German, English, French, Spanish, and Italian.

Does the app tell me when to feed my pet?

No. You can adjust the intervals yourself. Reminders help you check on your pet. They are not a substitute for your own observations or the care guidelines for each species.
