Grammostola pulchra – Velvet black tarantula for your terrarium
Grammostola pulchra is one of the best known tarantulas in terraristics. The species originates from Brazil and Uruguay and lives there in open grasslands and in loose soils where it creates retreats.
Their most striking feature is the deep black, velvety coloration of the entire body. This intense color makes Grammostola pulchra one of the most elegant tarantulas ever. In good light, the black coat looks almost like velvet, making the animals appear particularly elegant.
